FAQs

"What are closing costs?"

- Closing costs are a compulation of fees associated with the closing, as well as setting up escrow accounts for buyers. This would include things such as the title company closing fee, lender processing fee, broker admin fee, appraisal, pre-paid interest, homeowner insurance escrow set-up, etc. sed scelerisque.

Do I have to get an inspection?

- An inspection is not required by the lender or title company and can be waived if requested, however I strongly recommend that all clients obtain an inspection report of any property they are interested in purchasing. An inspection is able to provide knowledge on areas that I cannot, and often is able to find issues sellers have not disclosed or did not even know existed.

"I'm a first-time homebuyer. Where do I even start?"

- Becoming a homeover can be overwhelming, but an agent who will be a sounding board for you every step of the way can alliviate some of the stress and confusion associated with the process. The first step as a new buyer is to find a lender to work with to figure out what your budget is. Once a bank provides you a pre-approval letter, we can start looking at homes and make an offer on the one that feels like home.
